About The Position
Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to patients with infectious diseases. The role serves residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities and involves working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, personalized care. The schedule is part-time or full-time, three days per week, in Cleveland, Texas.
Requirements
- At least six months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
- An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
- A DEA license.
- CPR BCLS/BLS certification.
- A Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Completion of a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- One year of experience in Infectious Disease.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience documenting in an EMR, such as Sigma, Visual, or PCC; training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations.
- Interpret lab tests.
- Inform patients about their health conditions.
- Propose treatment plans for chronic and acute infectious disease conditions.
- Prescribe antibiotics and propose treatment plans.
