About The Position

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a friendly and compassionate Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care to patients with infectious diseases. The role serves residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities and involves working with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate, personalized care. The position is part-time and located in Cleveland, Texas.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• An active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• A DEA license.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certification.
• A Master's Degree in Nursing.
• Completion of a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• One year of experience in Infectious Disease.
• Great organizational and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience documenting in an EMR, such as Sigma, Visual, or PCC; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations.
• Interpret laboratory tests.
• Inform patients about their health conditions.
• Propose treatment plans for chronic and acute infectious disease conditions.
• Prescribe antibiotics and propose treatment plans.
