Infant/Toddler Teacher

About The Position

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher at Celebree School™, you will create a nurturing, enriching environment that supports infants’ and toddlers’ development through age-appropriate experiences. You will incorporate Celebree’s vision, mission, and values into children’s daily experiences and help classroom aides develop confidence and compassion in early childhood education. The role includes managing the infant classroom, planning and delivering stimulating lessons, maintaining a safe and welcoming space, complying with applicable regulations and company policies, and completing classroom documentation. Hours are Monday through Friday in the afternoon and evening. Compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Meet the governing State agency’s requirements to qualify as a lead teacher.
Have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of children’s behavioral and developmental stages.
Have knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
Ability to manage a classroom.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Guide infants through daily activities with gentle support.
Manage the infant classroom in compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Create and implement thorough, timely, age-appropriate lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom.
Complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking accurately.
Help classroom aides develop confidence and compassion in early childhood education.
