About The Position

Teachers at The Learning Experience serve as ambassadors of happiness, creating opportunities each day that reflect the mission to make a difference in the lives of children, families, and communities. Teachers use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning. The role works with infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children, implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in ways that meet each child’s unique needs. Teachers create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where children can play, learn, and grow, and communicate regularly with families about children’s experiences and achievements. They also partner with center staff and leadership to support center goals around enrollment and engagement.

Requirements

Required Florida DCF 45 hours or CDA.
High school diploma or GED required.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of professional teaching experience preferred.
College early childhood education coursework highly preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Communicate regularly with parents about children’s adventures and achievements through avenues such as mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support center goals around enrollment and engagement.
Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
