About The Position
The Learning Experience – Ashburn is seeking an experienced Infant / Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of early development. The role focuses on creating a nurturing classroom environment where children build confidence, communication skills, and independence through responsive care and structured routines. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, at The Learning Experience – Ashburn, VA, with pay starting at $20 per hour based on experience.
Requirements
- Prior childcare experience.
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- CDA preferred but not required.
- Experience working with infants or toddlers strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom routines for infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and supervision.
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Encourage early communication and social development.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and milestones.
- Follow Virginia licensing and safety requirements.
