Infant / Toddler Teacher
About The Position
The Learning Experience in Tallahassee is opening soon and is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join its founding team. The teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom and provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young children. The role includes implementing TLE’s proprietary L.E.A.P. curriculum through hands-on, play-based learning and supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The teacher will build meaningful relationships with children, families, and coworkers; communicate with families about children’s experiences, milestones, and accomplishments; and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. The teacher will follow applicable Florida childcare licensing, health, safety, and supervision requirements and collaborate with the teaching team to provide exceptional care and education.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of formal childcare experience.
- Completed Florida DCF 45-hour training certificate.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to meet all applicable Florida childcare licensing requirements.
- Genuine passion for working with young children.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
