About The Position
The Learning Experience in Ashburn, Virginia, is seeking an experienced Infant / Toddler Teacher to support children during an important stage of early development. The role focuses on creating a nurturing classroom environment where children build confidence, communication skills, and independence through responsive care and structured routines. The teacher supports infants and toddlers through attentive care and developmentally appropriate learning activities, while maintaining a safe, organized classroom and communicating with families about routines and milestones. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with compensation of $20.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience. This franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.
Requirements
- Prior childcare experience is required.
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- CDA preferred but not required.
- Experience working with infants or toddlers strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom routines for infants and toddlers.
- Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, and supervision.
- Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Encourage early communication and social development.
