About The Position

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher at Celebree School™, you will create a nurturing, enriching classroom environment that supports infants’ and toddlers’ development, growth, and exploration. You will provide developmentally appropriate experiences and incorporate the school’s vision, mission, and values into children’s daily activities. The role also includes supporting and guiding classroom aides as they develop their early childhood education skills. You will manage the infant classroom, plan and implement age-appropriate lessons, maintain a safe and welcoming space, and complete required records. The position offers hands-on experience in classroom leadership, curriculum implementation, child development, and family engagement. Teachers receive coaching, professional development, mentorship from the School Director and leadership team, and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

Meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing state agency.
Have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of children’s behavioral and developmental stages.
Know childcare licensing requirements.
Ability to manage a classroom.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Guide infants through daily activities with gentle support.
Manage the infant classroom in compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Create and implement thorough, timely, age-appropriate lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
Keep the classroom safe, clean, and inviting.
Accurately complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.
Help classroom aides build confidence and skills in early childhood education.
