About The Position

As an Infant/Toddler Teacher at Celebree School, you will create a nurturing, enriching environment that supports infants’ and toddlers’ growth and exploration through age-appropriate experiences. You will incorporate the school’s vision, mission, and values into children’s daily experiences and help classroom aides build confidence and compassion in early childhood education. The role includes leading classroom activities, implementing the infant curriculum, maintaining a safe and welcoming classroom, and ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and company policies. You will receive support and mentorship from the School Director and leadership team, along with coaching, professional development, and opportunities to grow in early childhood education. The position offers hands-on experience in classroom leadership, curriculum implementation, child development, family engagement, and creating engaging learning environments. The franchise location is independently owned and operated, and its management makes hiring decisions.

Requirements

Meet the governing State agency’s requirements to qualify as a lead teacher.
Have comprehensive knowledge of children’s behavioral and developmental stages.
Have knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
Be able to manage a classroom.
Have strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Guide infants through daily activities with gentle support.
Manage the infant classroom in compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
Create and implement timely, thorough, age-appropriate, stimulating lesson plans in accordance with the infant curriculum.
Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom.
Complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking accurately.
Help classroom aides develop confidence and compassion in early childhood education.
