About The Position

Implement the EHS curriculum, assessment, and Head Start Performance Standards in Early Head Start classrooms. Prepare daily lesson plans in advance that include indoor and outdoor activities, are individualized and based on infants’ and toddlers’ needs, interests, and schedules, and include multicultural education materials and activities, family-style meals, and other elements as appropriate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to cope with stress.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical activity and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience working with families and young children preferred.
