About The Position

Cross Country Education is hiring an Infant Toddler Teacher in the Los Angeles, California area. The role provides classroom coverage and support for infant and toddler classrooms during staff leave. The teacher implements age-appropriate activities that support children’s developmental, social-emotional, and learning needs, maintains a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment, follows program policies and procedures, and collaborates with teaching teams and site staff to support daily classroom operations.

Requirements

• At least 12 Early Childhood Education units, qualifying for Associate Teacher Permit eligibility or higher.
• At least 6 completed semester units of Infant/Toddler coursework.
• Must be able to successfully clear the TrustLine background process.

Nice To Haves

• An active California Child Development Teacher Permit with at least 3 infant/toddler units is preferred; candidates who are permit eligible or have a permit application pending will also be considered.
• At least 6 months of experience working with infants and toddlers in a licensed childcare, Head Start, or early childhood education setting is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish experience is a plus.
