Requirements

High school diploma required.
Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families, and faculty members.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
1–2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning® curriculum to engage and support each child’s growth.
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain open, effective, and positive communication with families and guardians about children’s progress and daily activities.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to uphold health and safety standards and licensing regulations and ensure their well-being.
Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and development to inform activities and share insights with families.
Support Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Model and implement positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.
