Infant Teacher
About The Position
Primrose School of Cherry Hill is hiring an entry-level Infant Teacher to provide nurturing care and support infants’ development. The teacher will build trusted relationships with families and create joyful learning experiences using the school’s digital learning platform and Balanced Learning curriculum. Lesson plans are provided, and training is available. The school describes its environment as joyful and welcoming, with high-quality facilities focused on health and safety and an on-site leadership team invested in employee growth. The position is scheduled from 9:00 to 6:00, with no nights or weekends. Compensation is $18.00–$20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for infants.
- Implement provided, age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean learning space.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
