About The Position

Magic Memories is hiring Infant Teachers in Jeffersonville, Pennsylvania, for immediate openings. Teachers help create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment and support children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs. They build positive relationships with families and colleagues and contribute to a nurturing classroom culture. Requirements

• A minimum of two years of professional Early Childhood Education experience with infants, toddlers, or preschool-age children is listed; the posting also says candidates with a passion for the field may be trained.
• Strong organizational skills, flexibility in challenging situations, a desire to grow in early childhood education, and commitment to creating a positive learning environment are sought.
• A High School Diploma is accepted; pay varies based on experience.
• A CDA enrollment earns a $0.50-per-hour increase, with an additional $0.50-per-hour increase upon completion.

Nice To Haves

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
• Early Childhood Education-related degrees or education may qualify candidates for higher rates.
• Experience as a Lead Teacher or readiness to grow from an Assistant Teacher is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure children's health, safety, and supervision at all times.
• Maintain classroom ratios and supervision standards.
• Support a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
• Assist with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities.
• Lead activities such as storytime, centers, music, and play-based learning.
• Encourage children to follow classroom rules and routines.
• Monitor children's development and progress.
• Communicate professionally with parents and leadership.
