Infant Teacher
About The Position
Primrose School of Peters Township is hiring an Early Childhood Infant Teacher to provide nurturing care and support infants’ development. The teacher builds trusted relationships with families and uses the school’s digital learning platform and Balanced Learning curriculum to create joyful learning experiences. The role offers an eight-hour weekday shift, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. There are no nights or weekends. The school describes its environment as joyful and welcoming, with high-quality facilities focused on health and safety, an on-site school leadership team invested in staff growth, and engaged, caring franchise owners.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Education or a related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA).
- One year of experience working with young children.
- Strong communication skills.
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for infants.
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided for the teacher.
- Ensure a safe and clean learning space.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
