Infant Teacher Assistant
About The Position
As an Infant Teacher Assistant at Celebree School™, you will support the Lead Teacher in creating a nurturing, enriching, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. You will help ensure that Celebree’s vision, mission, and values are reflected in the children’s experiences and may help classroom aides build confidence and compassion as they learn about early childhood education. The role includes supporting daily classroom activities, maintaining a safe and welcoming space, preparing and implementing stimulating lesson plans based on the infant curriculum, and completing required records. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, with morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available. Compensation is $17.00–$21.00 per hour, with a $500 signing bonus after completing 90 days. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a strong passion for early childhood education.
- Have 1–3 years of experience working in early childhood education with young children.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and collaboration or team-building characteristics.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher with daily activities and provide gentle guidance and support to infants.
- Manage the infant classroom in compliance with Office of Child Care regulations and company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a welcoming and friendly classroom environment for children, parents, and visitors.
- Create and implement thorough, timely, age-appropriate, and stimulating lesson plans in accordance with Celebree’s infant curriculum.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom.
- Accurately complete paperwork, electronic reports, supervision records, and attendance tracking.
- Help classroom aides navigate their early childhood education journey with confidence and compassion.
