About The Position
We are a loving family in South Minneapolis looking for an experienced, attentive, and warm nanny for our little one, who will be 4 months old at the start of the position. We also have a friendly 20-pound Pomeranian mix! Our dog has a daily dog walker (except on Mondays when he goes to doggy daycare), so pet care is not required.
Requirements
- Proven professional infant care experience (nanny references required).
- COVID-19 vaccinated candidate.
- We follow a strict no-screens policy for children under 2. This means zero screen time for the baby, and personal phones must be kept away while actively supervising and engaging with our child.
- Highly responsive to the baby's needs—must be someone who comforts immediately and does not leave the baby unattended while crying for extended periods.
- Comfortable in a home with a small, friendly dog.
Responsibilities
- Infant Care: Complete hygiene routines, responsive soothing, and following baby’s cues.
- Engagement & Development: Age-appropriate activities including reading, tummy time, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Child Meal Prep: Preparing and feeding baby meals/bottles as the child transitions to solids.
- Light Housekeeping: Tidy up baby-related areas, baby laundry, and light kitchen cleanup related to the child's meals.
