About The Position
The Learning Experience – Andover is hiring a certified Infant Teacher to support our youngest learners in a nurturing and structured early childhood environment. These roles focus on building secure relationships, supporting early communication, and guiding children through important developmental milestones during their first years of learning. This position is ideal for educators who enjoy creating responsive classroom routines while partnering closely with families and teaching teams.
Requirements
- Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher certification required
- Prior infant or toddler classroom experience preferred
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented approach
- Ability to meet all Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Support daily classroom routines for children ages 6 weeks to 2 years
- Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities that encourage exploration and communication
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Observe and document developmental progress
- Communicate regularly with families about daily routines and milestones
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing and health and safety standards
