About The Position
The Learning Experience - Meridian is seeking a nurturing and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Working alongside another Lead Teacher, you'll help create a warm, responsive Infant classroom where babies feel safe, secure, and supported. Through individualized care, sensory exploration, movement, and meaningful interactions, you'll support our youngest learners through important developmental milestones.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous professional infant, daycare, or childcare experience strongly preferred
- Infant classroom experience preferred
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related credentials are a plus
- Comfortable with feeding, diapering, safe sleep, and individualized infant routines
- Patient, nurturing, dependable, and collaborative
- Ability to meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements

Responsibilities
- Co-lead daily routines in a safe and nurturing Infant classroom
- Provide attentive, responsive care throughout the day
- Support individualized feeding, diapering, sleep, and care schedules
- Create age-appropriate sensory, movement, language, and early learning experiences
- Support cognitive, physical, language, and social-emotional development
- Follow appropriate safe sleep, sanitation, health, and safety practices
- Observe developmental progress and maintain required classroom documentation
- Build trusting relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate closely with your co-teacher and center leadership
- Follow Idaho childcare licensing requirements
