About The Position
BrightPath Kids is seeking an Infant Assistant Teacher to support teachers and families in providing a home-away-from-home environment for children in their care. The role includes working with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, assisting with classroom instruction, and helping maintain a warm, safe, clean environment that encourages children to grow and explore. Paid training on classroom procedures is provided, and no classroom experience is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- Ability to work within regular operating hours.
- Must meet state criteria for child care employment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.
- Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
- Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
- Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and allows children to grow and explore.
- Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child.
