About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a full-time Assistant Teacher for the Infant classroom at its West Norriton school. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The teacher assists in implementing the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and philosophy, maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment, and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding their expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility; or 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
