About The Position

As an Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher at Tutor Time, you will provide daily care for children in your classroom while following licensing guidelines and company standards. You will observe and assess children, plan learning experiences, and communicate effectively with families. The role includes completing training on child care, preschool, and child development, and implementing the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive activities. Teachers should be able to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activities with children. The schedule is Monday through Friday. Compensation for the Lead Teacher position is $20.61–$21.41, based on position, education, and experience, with bi-weekly and daily pay options.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• Have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• Meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
