About The Position

The Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher provides daily care and education for children in the classroom, following licensing guidelines and company standards. The teacher observes and assesses children, plans learning experiences, and communicates effectively with families. The role includes completing training on child care, preschool, and child development, and implementing the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive activities. Teachers must be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child in the classroom.
Observe and assess children and plan for their learning and development.
Communicate effectively with families.
Complete training on child care, preschool, and child development topics.
Implement the company’s proprietary curriculum and create fun, interactive learning experiences.
Engage in physical activity with children, indoors or outdoors.
