About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity. The work week is Monday through Friday. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Lead Teacher range is $21.51–$23.91. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available. Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
