About The Position

The Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher provides daily care and learning experiences for children in a licensed childcare classroom. The teacher follows licensing guidelines and company standards, observes and assesses children, plans educational activities, and communicates with families. The role implements the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences and includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• Have a minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• Meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in the classroom.
• Observe and assess children and plan for their development.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Implement the proprietary curriculum and create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development.
