Haakon Industries, a global leader in custom-designed and manufactured HVAC units, is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as a Painter in the Paint Department. This team is responsible for preparing and painting air handling units to ensure a quality finish in the final stages of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Apply paint using HVLP spray guns and airless paint systems to achieve a quality finish on air handling units
Fully prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, caulking, masking and performing dent repair as needed
Clean, maintain and adjust paint spray guns and equipment to ensure efficient operation
Perform spray foam insulation applications within a paint booth
Perform body fill applications for dent repair to ensure smooth and finished surfaces
Safely operate an overhead crane and forklift to handle materials as needed
Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals
Work effectively in a team environment with strong verbal and written communication skills
Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
