About The Position
Thermal Corp is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to support production of air handling units (AHUs) used in data centers. In this role, you’ll apply high-quality coatings to large HVAC equipment, helping ensure durability, corrosion resistance, and a clean, professional finish for mission-critical environments.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial painting experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Experience with spray equipment and coating applications
- Ability to work on large equipment or fabricated metal parts
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to read work instructions and follow specifications
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces (cleaning, sanding, masking) for painting
- Apply primers and coatings using spray equipment (HVLP, airless, etc.)
- Paint large components and assembled air handling units
- Mix coatings and ensure consistent color, texture, and thickness
- Inspect finishes and perform touch-ups as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines
