Industrial Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)
About The Position
Join Idemitsu as an Industrial Maintenance Technician and become part of a team that keeps our facility in top shape! You’ll work on everything from electrical and mechanical repairs to welding and equipment installation. You’ll help maintain our high-speed automated equipment, building, and equipment across filling, blending, tank farm, and warehouse areas. Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years in Maintenance)
- Strong knowledge of all areas of industrial maintenance and repair
- Ability to stay calm and effective under high-pressure conditions
- Comfortable working in various environments
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. regularly and perform continuous walking
- Willing to work around chemicals and follow all safety procedures
- Must be flexible to work on-call and carry a cell phone on a rotating schedule
Responsibilities
- Tackle electrical repairs and installations (from 5V control wiring to 480V 3-phase systems)
- Handle mechanical repairs — from quick fixes to full equipment rebuilds
- Fabricate and weld projects, both simple and complex
- Put your tech skills to use with PCs, Windows applications, and PLC troubleshooting or programming
- Jump in where needed and work different shifts as directed by management
