About The Position

This is an entry-level temporary position offering the opportunity to increase knowledge and skills in the business. The role performs rework, industrial cleaning, quality control checks, and equipment operation in a production facility. The position pays $18.00 per hour, with hours over 40 per week paid at $27.00 per hour. No benefits are provided until conversion to a full-time position after 1,000 working hours and completion of certifications.

The schedule consists of 12.25-hour shifts, either 5:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 5:45 p.m.–6:00 a.m. Employees rotate between day and night shifts every six weeks and work three days on followed by three days off. A full calendar schedule is provided on the first day of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and climates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
• Ability to continuously stand, bend, and twist.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and safely perform rework duties.
• Clean production lines, production work areas, and other facility areas to maintain standards.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Operate industrial equipment to load, unload, and/or transport pallets.
• Assume supplemental responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
