About The Position

This is an entry-level temporary position offering an opportunity to increase knowledge and skills in the business. The role involves safely performing rework, cleaning production lines and other facility areas, carrying out quality control checks, and operating industrial equipment to handle pallets. The position pays $18.00 per hour, with hours over 40 paid at $27.00 per hour. There are no benefits until conversion to a full-time position after 1,000 working hours and completion of certifications. Shifts are 12.25 hours, either 5:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 5:45 p.m.–6:00 a.m.; employees rotate between day and night shifts every six weeks and work three days on followed by three days off. A full calendar schedule is provided on the first day of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures and climates.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds.
• Must be able to continuously stand, bend, and twist, and lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Computer skills required.

• Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and safely perform rework duties.
• Perform industrial cleaning of production lines, production work areas, or other parts of the facility to maintain standards.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Operate industrial equipment to load, unload, and/or transport pallets.
• Assume supplemental responsibilities or tasks as assigned.
