About The Position
The Temporary Warehouse Laborer assists with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing office furniture. This hands-on position involves physical activity throughout the workday. Hours are as needed based on workload, so candidates must be flexible and available when work is offered. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, as needed, at a pay rate of $12.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy office furniture.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
- Steel-toe boots required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be flexible and able to work on an as-needed basis.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or moving experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload office furniture safely.
- Move furniture throughout the warehouse and loading areas.
- Assist with preparing furniture for delivery or storage.
- Safely lift and move materials following proper procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work area.
- Assist with general warehouse labor and cleanup.
- Follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
