About The Position

Technica hires Warehouse Laborers to perform work at Fort Belvoir and the Pentagon. Work begins at the Fort Belvoir location. The Warehouse Laborer loads and unloads trucks; moves office furniture, supplies, and materials to their proper locations using a wheelbarrow or hand truck; stacks materials for storage or binning; and moves and arranges heavy office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis to support frequent hiring needs.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC), including passing a pre-employment drug screen and a thorough background check approved at the government level.
• Must be able to work in all seasonal elements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for an extended period of time.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
