About The Position

The Warehouse Laborer loads, unloads, receives, stores, and distributes inventory as part of the facility’s daily operations. The role requires safely operating warehouse equipment, maintaining and inspecting inventory, and preparing secure loads. It is a safety-sensitive position in a fast-paced environment. Local travel is required, amounting to less than 10%.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required if operating a vehicle for Company purposes.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Ability to compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job-related tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, depending on job duties.
• Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory and store it in an orderly, accessible manner.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report issues to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Perform other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.
