About The Position

Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Inspection and Service Salesperson for its Houston Industrial District Office. The position focuses on selling inspection contracts and developing business in the fire protection industry, particularly industrial fire protection. The salesperson will prospect for new customers, develop existing customer relationships, pursue follow-up sales, and meet a targeted sales quota. The role also involves reporting sales progress and metrics to operations and corporate teams and representing the company at trade shows, product demonstrations, and other events.

Requirements

• Experience in a sales role involving presentations to potential clients and negotiation in direct sales opportunities.
• Basic knowledge of the fire protection industry, particularly industrial fire protection.
• At least 3 to 5 years of business-to-business sales experience.
• Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and local regulations pertaining to fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and fire extinguisher systems.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for and develop new customers and business.
• Develop customers and accounts through up-selling and multi-line development of services.
• Provide and negotiate pricing for inspection contract sales.
• Deliver sales against a targeted quota.
• Maintain established accounts through regular customer contact and pursue follow-up sales.
• Report progress and provide metrics to operations and corporate teams weekly and monthly.
• Participate in trade shows, special product demonstrations, and other events to increase sales and enhance the company’s image.
