About The Position

The Industrial Housekeeper for Sizemore, Inc.’s Bremen Division assists with the daily operations of the assigned facility. The position is based in a manufacturing/warehouse facility and involves cleaning and upkeep of interior and exterior areas, restrooms, and break areas; handling waste and recycling; responding to cleaning requests; and safely managing chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The employee obtains job requests from management and clients, communicates with management, follows safety rules, and represents Sizemore professionally. Other tasks may be assigned as required.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age, subject to the position and applicable legal requirements.
Have dependable transportation.
Submit to and pass required drug screening and background checks.
Have at least 2 years of janitorial experience.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to take direction and work well with minimal supervision.
Work in harmony with others.
Have strong problem-solving skills and be a self-starter.
Pass employment verification and a clean MVR check if driving.
Pass pre-employment and random employment drug screens.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleanup of all building areas as directed.
Maintain exterior areas, green space, and interior areas.
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pickup.
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
Ensure chemicals are labeled and properly stored.
Maintain good verbal and written communication with management.
Keep restrooms and break areas maintained and stocked with necessary paper products and chemicals.
Obtain complete and accurate job requests from management and clients.
Follow and communicate all safety rules and regulations.
Represent Sizemore, Inc. professionally.
Maintain documentation of account usage of chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure safe use.
