About The Position

Sizemore, Inc. is hiring Industrial Janitors/Housekeepers in Middletown, Delaware. This is a direct-hire, full-time position in an industrial or warehouse setting, paying $15.00 per hour with weekly pay. Employees may work one of two schedules: Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, with either a day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or an overnight shift from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The posting describes the schedules as flexible and notes four days on followed by three days off. Training is available for the right candidates. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing floors, restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas; disposing of waste and packing materials; restocking supplies; and safely using and maintaining cleaning equipment and chemicals. Work may take place inside or outside in varying building and weather conditions. Overtime may be required, and the job involves extensive walking and standing, stair use, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting or carrying items generally weighing 50 pounds or less. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation. A seven-year background check and drug test are conducted before employment. Responsibilities

Clean flooring surfaces by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing in an industrial or warehouse setting.
Gather and dispose of cardboard, packing materials, wood, and other materials from designated gaylords and bins.
Sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, and floors.
Dust and wipe down office furniture and equipment, baseboards, windows, and blinds.
Clean and disinfect breakrooms, including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, and floors.
Restock supplies and refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
Empty trash cans and replace liners.
Ensure proper labeling and use of available cleaning chemicals.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable condition.
Operate specialized equipment as needed, including augers, balers, and waste compactors.
Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policies and procedures.
Abide by and enforce Sizemore’s and the client’s policies and procedures as needed.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
