About The Position

The Industrial Electrical Estimator prepares accurate, competitive, and comprehensive electrical estimates and proposals for industrial construction projects. The role reviews electrical drawings, specifications, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to understand project scope, identify electrical and instrumentation requirements, and develop complete labor and material estimates. The ideal candidate has industrial electrical estimating experience; at least one year supporting industrial water/wastewater projects is strongly preferred.

The position works primarily in an office or hybrid environment and may involve occasional travel to construction sites, pre-bid meetings, customer meetings, and project locations. Site visits may involve variable weather and exposure to noise, dust, uneven surfaces, and other construction-related hazards. Employees must follow applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro EH&S policies. Requirements

• Education or experience in Construction Management/Technology, Electrical Engineering, or three years of hands-on electrical contracting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, one-lines, plans, and specifications.
• Understanding of electrical and instrumentation scope associated with industrial facilities.
• Ability to develop complete and accurate electrical estimates from bid documents.
• Experience soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction means, methods, materials, and labor requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
• Must comply with applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro EH&S policies.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of electrical estimating experience in an industrial construction environment.
• Experience with industrial water/wastewater projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience with industrial mining, manufacturing, and other industrial process facilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical estimating, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
• Experience with AccuBid Classic or similar electrical estimating software.
