About The Position

The Senior Industrial Electrical Estimator prepares accurate, competitive, and comprehensive electrical estimates and proposals for industrial construction projects. The role requires experience in electrical estimating in industrial environments, with at least one year supporting industrial water/wastewater projects strongly preferred. The estimator reviews electrical drawings, specifications, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to understand project scope, identify electrical and instrumentation requirements, and develop complete labor and material estimates. The position works primarily in an office or hybrid environment, with occasional travel to commercial construction sites, pre-bid meetings, customer meetings, and project locations. Site visits may involve variable weather and exposure to noise, dust, uneven surfaces, and other construction-related hazards. The employee must comply with applicable safety regulations, PPE requirements, and Loenbro’s Environmental Health and Safety policies.

Requirements

At least 5 years of electrical estimating experience.
At least 3 years of industrial electrical estimating experience.
Ability to work independently on industrial electrical estimates valued at $10 million.
Strong understanding of electrical estimating, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, one-lines, plans, and specifications.
Understanding of electrical and instrumentation scope associated with industrial facilities.
Strong understanding of electrical construction means, methods, materials, and labor requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
Experience visiting operating industrial facilities for pre-bid meetings.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience supporting industrial water/wastewater projects is strongly preferred.
Experience with industrial mining, manufacturing, and other industrial process facilities.
Experience leading estimating teams.
Experience leading large industrial electrical estimates valued at $10 million to $20 million or more.
Experience with AccuBid Classic or similar electrical estimating software.
Experience developing complete and accurate electrical estimates from bid documents.
Experience soliciting and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing.
Experience creating comprehensive estimate proposals.
Experience developing and training electrical estimators.
Experience parsing estimate information into complex customer bid forms using Microsoft Excel.
Experience attending customer meetings and effectively communicating important estimate and project information.

Responsibilities
