About The Position

Office Pride is seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking Industrial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in an industrial setting. The role helps keep workspaces and common areas clean and safe by following standard cleaning procedures and safety regulations. The schedule is part-time, mornings from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, in North Birmingham, Alabama. Compensation is $14.00–$16.00 per hour. Cleaning products, equipment, and safety equipment, including a safety vest, are provided. The position offers training and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs.
• Education and work history that demonstrate work ethic and responsibility.
• Understanding of safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Care about quality, be detail-oriented, and work at an efficient pace.
• Be reliable.
• Valid driver's license.
• Steel-toe shoes.
• Availability to work the morning shift from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize industrial equipment, machinery, and/or workspaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove debris from floors and surfaces.
• Dispose of industrial waste in accordance with company and environmental guidelines.
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas in sanitary condition.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Follow safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support facility cleanliness.
