About The Position

Reworld is hiring a hands-on Field Service Technician I for its Field Services team. The role involves cleaning and preparing hazardous and non-hazardous waste for transportation at customer sites. It is suited to dependable people who take safety seriously, are comfortable with physically demanding work and waste, and are willing to learn new equipment and skills. Previous environmental services experience is not required; experience in sanitation, janitorial work, industrial cleaning, restoration, waste services, environmental cleanup, pressure washing, construction cleanup, or other physically demanding work may provide a useful foundation.

The position requires work in different environments and weather conditions, including confined spaces and areas above or below ground, and around industrial equipment. Travel of 10–25% is required, with occasional overnight travel. Candidates must be able to perform the listed physical duties and qualify to wear a full-face respirator. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Job level, title, and/or salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Clean up and prepare hazardous and non-hazardous waste for transportation.
• Load and unload tanks and tankers containing bulk liquids.
• Handle, package, and prepare hazardous and non-hazardous materials for transportation.
• Use pressure washers, hand tools, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts, pneumatic tools, and other equipment.
• Remove materials from tanks, pits, and trenches during industrial and environmental cleanup projects.
• Inspect equipment, hoses, and connections before and during work.
• Work in confined spaces, above or below ground, and on or around industrial equipment.
• Use industrial hygiene instrumentation and other specialized equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Follow Reworld procedures, OSHA requirements, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Represent Reworld professionally while working independently or as part of a team at customer sites.
• Complete required safety and job-related training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
