About The Position

Office Pride is seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking Industrial Cleaning Technician to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in an industrial setting. The role helps keep workspaces and common areas clean and safe by following standard cleaning procedures and safety regulations. The position involves working independently and as part of a team, with cleaning products, equipment, and safety gear provided. The schedule is part-time: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Saturdays, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM, in Anniston, Alabama. Compensation is $14.00–$16.00 per hour. This job is with an independently owned and operated Office Pride franchise; the franchise handles employment matters for its location.

Requirements

• Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds.
• Education and work history demonstrating work ethic and responsibility.
• Understanding of safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Care about quality, be detail-oriented, and work at an efficient pace.
• Reliability.
• Valid driver's license.
• Steel-toe shoes.
• Availability for the stated evening schedule Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize industrial equipment, machinery, and/or workspaces.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and surfaces, and remove debris.
• Dispose of industrial waste according to company and environmental guidelines.
• Use industrial cleaning chemicals and tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas in sanitary condition.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report replenishment needs.
• Follow safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report maintenance or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with other duties as assigned to support facility cleanliness.
