About The Position
Openwork is seeking an Industrial Cleaner in Union, South Carolina. The role involves cleaning building floors and production equipment, maintaining housekeeping equipment, and identifying and communicating hazards. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., starting at $15 per hour, with growth opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good communication skills with management and coworkers.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and pull, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely climb ladders and stairs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping or industrial cleaning experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming.
- Wipe down, dust, and degrease production equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment in proper working condition.
- Identify and communicate hazards using appropriate signage, such as wet floor signs.
