About The Position
The Industrial Chrome Plating candidate performs chrome plating work by following work instructions and safety procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment. The role involves creating, customizing, and adapting racks to meet customer requirements; troubleshooting plating problems; recognizing and responding to changes in bath chemistry and anode performance; and testing and titrating the chrome bath to maintain its chemistry. The work environment is indoors and outdoors in un-air-conditioned ambient conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two or more years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow work instructions.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Create, customize, and adapt racks to meet customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot plating problems.
- Recognize and react to changing chemistry and anode performance.
- Test and titrate the chrome bath to maintain chemistry.
