About The Position

Perform all tasks associated with booking direct and indirect consumer loans with the exception of underwriting. This includes taking telephone, mail, or e-mail applications, working up applications for underwriters' review, communicating with members, and closing loans. The ability to cross-sell other Barksdale Federal Credit Union products, excellent communication skills, the capability to perform well in a fast-moving, high-stress environment, and a team spirit are key factors in this position.

Requirements

Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures
Well organized
Strong typing abilities
High school diploma or equivalent
Good verbal public relations skills
Ability to perform well in a fast-moving, high-stress environment
Team spirit

Nice To Haves

One to two years of varied office experience preferred
