Requirements

  • Expertise in clerical and loan processing duties related to indirect lending, with a requisite understanding of financial institution operations.
  • High level of analytical ability where problems are complex (i.e. transaction, loan problems).
  • Requires the ability to adjust priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Requires excellent interpersonal communication skills to ascertain dealers'/members' needs and handle problems.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive in seeking professional growth, embracing both formal and informal development opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability to new responsibilities.
  • Team-oriented with a strong collaborative mindset, actively supporting team members and contributing to a positive and high-performing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to perform essential functions, including the ability to lift up to 10 lbs. as needed.
  • HSD or GED - no substitution
  • One (1) year(s) of applicable experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior credit union or related industry preferred.
  • Prior dealership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with team members, dealerships, and internal departments to move loans efficiently from application to funding
  • Review loan documentation for accuracy and completeness while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Communicate proactively to resolve outstanding conditions and documentation requirements
  • Monitor loan pipelines and prioritize tasks to meet service-level expectations and funding timelines
  • Maintain accurate electronic loan records and supporting documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute ideas that support team success
  • Deliver outstanding service while building positive relationships with members, dealership partners, and coworkers
