Independent Recruitment Consultant (Commission-Only)
About The Position
This is a commission-only partnership for an independent recruitment consultant. The consultant sources and headhunts candidates, screens and interviews them against client requirements, presents qualified candidates, and manages them through interviews, offer negotiations, and joining. The role also involves maintaining candidate records in the ATS and bringing candidate leads and, where possible, new client opportunities. There is no retainer, monthly salary, or employee benefits. The consultant must provide their own laptop, phone, and internet connection and have valid UAE residency and a freelance permit or trade licence, or be able to obtain one.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of recruitment experience in an agency or in-house setting in the UAE or GCC.
- Proven track record of closing positions.
- Strong sourcing and search skills.
- A strong candidate network in Dubai and the GCC.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Valid UAE residency and a freelance permit or trade licence, or the ability to obtain one.
- Own laptop, phone, and internet connection.
Responsibilities
- Source and headhunt candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and personal networks.
- Screen, interview, and shortlist candidates against client requirements.
- Present qualified candidates and manage them through the interview process.
- Negotiate offers and manage candidates through to joining.
- Maintain candidate records and updates in the ATS.
- Bring candidate leads and, where possible, new client opportunities.
