From complex investigations and claims support to employment screening, process service, and litigation support, Alliance Risk Group combines experienced professionals, proven processes, and technology to deliver results clients can rely on. We are seeking a reliable and professional independent process server to serve legal documents throughout Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Washington, Warren, Schenectady County, NY. This is a 1099 contract position with per-serve compensation of $30-$50 per serve, negotiable based on experience, volume, and availability. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Requirements

• Previous experience serving process preferred
• Knowledge of New York State service-of-process rules
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be willing to cover all areas of a specific County, NY

Nice To Haves

• Background as a legal courier, service of process professional, or a Criminal Justice graduate is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve legal documents accurately and in a timely manner
• Document all service attempts clearly, including time, location, and method
• Sign off on affidavits of service
• Communicate promptly and professionally regarding service status
