Independent Optometrist - Walmart
About The Position
Launch independent optometry services in space leased inside a Walmart store. The Independent Optometrist takes a leading role in patient care related to eye and vision care, as well as general health and wellbeing. As an independent lease holder, the optometrist determines days and hours of practice, controls the patient schedule, sets the fee schedule, and keeps 100% of exam and professional fees. For fair market value, the lease holder may opt into equipment and instrumentation, as well as administrative and/or opt-tech support services where state law permits. This is not an employment position with Walmart Inc. or an entity owned by Walmart Inc. Continuing through the process does not create an employment relationship.
Requirements
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school.
- Valid state optometry license.
- General Liability Certificate.
- Professional Liability Insurance Certificate.
