About The Position

VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER is hiring Sprinter and Cargo Van owner-operators under a written independent contractor agreement. The company offers a large number of loads, dispatchers with more than four years of experience and broker contacts, and the ability to negotiate rates with dispatchers. Loads are personalized according to the owner-operator’s preferences. Rates listed for Sprinters are $0.85–$1.35 per mile for long miles in good areas and $0.85–$1.10 per mile for long miles in bad areas; Canada Sprinter rates are $1.25–$1.55 per mile. Payment is made within 3–5 business days, with a 3% quick-pay option. The listed workdays are Monday through Friday. The stated minimum average monthly salary is $8,000 or more, depending on the vehicle, willingness to work, payload, and whether the driver has a Hazmat certificate or TSA/TWIC credentials. The company does not hire company drivers.

Requirements

• Own a Sprinter or Cargo Van.
• Be a U.S. citizen, resident, green card holder, or work authorization holder.
• You and your drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• You and your drivers must be able to speak, understand, and read basic English.
• Have at least 6 months of driving experience.
• Sprinter vehicles must be model year 2016 or newer.
• Vehicles must have at least 4 straps and PPE.
• Remove all decals from the vehicle.
• Provide vehicle registration and insurance.
• All drivers must be approved, accepted, and registered with VICTORIA LOGISTICS CARRIER before accepting a load.

Nice To Haves

• Russian speakers are also hired.
• A Hazmat certificate or TSA/TWIC credentials may affect the stated average monthly earnings.
