About The Position

Kdc/one Columbus is hiring an Incoming Quality Inspector at its New Albany, Ohio site. The role supports beauty and personal care manufacturing by inspecting incoming components and labels to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. The inspector records results, manages related SAP transactions, communicates quality concerns, and helps maintain compliance with FDA GMPs and company quality systems. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality inspection or a technical/mechanical field.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

College coursework preferred.
Familiarity with SAP and inspection tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming components using certified tools and ANSI/ASQC standards.
Receive and inspect labels in SAP using scanning software and customer specifications.
Record and scan inspection results into the appropriate database.
Perform form, fit, and function testing on new components.
Manage SAP transactions to contain or release components and labels.
Maintain and create inspection standards for components and labels.
Communicate quality alerts and issues to management and team members.
Place non-conforming items on hold and assist in troubleshooting.
Conduct AQL inspections when needed.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on quality concerns.
Ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and company quality systems.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for inspection.
Follow and promote kdc/one’s safety and environmental policies.
Complete required documentation and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
Support overtime and additional duties as needed.
